Dog Boarding Information


Vaccination Requirements

All pets must have documentation and be current on the following vaccines...

Rabies

Distemper/Parvo

Bordetella (within 6 months of boarding date)

Fecal Exam (within 6 months of boarding date)

Policies

Fleas

Boarders are checked for fleas upon arrival and departure. If fleas or evidence of fleas and/or flea eggs are found upon arrival, all pets from that family will be bathed at owner's expense. All flea and tick baths will be charged an additional $5 over the regular weight rate. If fleas are found at departure, pet will be treated for free.

Food

We feed Purina EN dog food at no extra cost. Owners may provide their own food if preferred. Food must be brought in sealed hard plastic containers (no bags!) labeled with pet's name and feeding amounts.

Medications

Medications will be dispensed for a charge of $2.00 per day. Medications must be labeled with the dog’s name, instructions for dispensing and medical condition.

Bedding

Bedding is not accepted from home, no exceptions. In a kennel environment, bedding can provide a breeding ground for bacteria and pests and can be a choking hazard. Bone Voyage offers vet approved Sleep Cots available for rental while your dog is boarding. Sleep Cots may be rented at $2.00 each per day.

Payment

Payment is due at the time service is rendered. Please arrange for payment if someone other than the owner will be picking up the dog.

A $50 deposit per run will be required for all holiday and summer bookings from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The deposit is non-refundable. A 48-hour notice of cancellation is required in order to use a deposit as a credit for future services; with a one year expiration from the date the deposit was taken. Payment is due upon checkout, including any vet charges, daycare, grooming, or training charges. We accept cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard.

Check-In

Check In hours are:
Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 11:30 am and 2 pm until 5:30pm
Saturdays 8:00 am until 11:30 am
Effective January 1, 2008, any boarding pets checking in less than 30 minutes before morning or evening closing will be charged a $15 late check-in fee per pet.

Checkout

Checkout is by noon on the day of departure. Any pet checking out after noon will be charged a full day’s rate. Sunday checkout is 4 – 5 pm and will always be a full day’s rate. Any person picking up a pet other than the owner must have prior written approval between the owner and a member of our staff on the day of check in, otherwise the pet will not be released to such individual.
