Bone Voyage is a state-of-the-art facility constructed of the highest quality materials for boarding at its finest. Situated on an acre and a half in a quiet cul-de-sac, the kennel and the yards measure over 10,000 square feet. The amenities include an indoor playroom, a quiet private room for smaller dogs, two large play yards with toys and wading pools, three separate heating and cooling systems and a fully monitored security system.
The kennel boasts 17 spacious 4 x 12 foot indoor/outdoor runs made out of solid FRP partitions for privacy and sanitation. This premium FRP run system is sealed with silicone to prevent cross contamination between runs and slopes slightly towards a drain located outside of the run for water spillage or bathroom accidents. The outdoor portions of the indoor/outdoor runs are concrete and sheltered under a 10-foot porch to protect the animals from the elements. For those preferring an indoor only suite, there are 22 interior runs measuring 3 x 5 feet. These runs are also constructed out of the same premium FRP system.
A private room designed for small dogs who may not do well in a large kennel environment is located up front near the office. The room is much quieter than the kennel and has a window with a view. There are five cages for boarding, 2 measuring 2 x 3 feet and 3 measuring 2 x 2.5 feet.
One of the best features of this facility is the great yards! With over 7,000 square feet to run and romp this is a dog’s dream. Secured with paneled fencing measuring 6 feet high and graveled, this is a highly sanitary and safe playground. Gravel is used for ground cover because it can be cleaned, unlike mulch or pine straw. Every week the gravel and fencing are bleached to kill germs and harmful bacteria. The yards are “scooped as the dogs poop” so the next dog that enters the yard can come into a clean environment. Animals are fully supervised by a member of the staff when exercising or playing in the yards.
